Abstract

Millions of people across rural and peri-urban regions worldwide remain exposed to unsafe concentrations of naturally occurring fluoride in groundwater. In West Bengal, India, community-level water purification plants (CWPPs) have been widely installed to remove excess fluoride, yet their long-term operational performance remains minimally documented.
